How do I apply for a library card?

Anyone may be issued a library card free of charge.

Proper photographic identification with a current address and signature is required. Children under the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian co-sign the application in order to get a library card.

Your Burbank Library card can be used at any of the City's three facilities: the Central Library, the Buena Vista Branch and Northwest Branch Libraries. When you are issued your new library card, you will also be given a Personal Identification Number (PIN). You will need your PIN to place holds on materials, renew materials, and to view your account online. Please keep your PIN in a safe place. If your library card is lost or stolen, it is your responsibility to report it to the library.

For more information, call our Circulation Department at (818) 238-5600.
