How Do I Apply for a Library Card?

Anyone may be issued a library card free of charge.

Proper photographic identification with a current address and signature is required. Children under the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian co-sign the application in order to get a library card.

Your Burbank Library card can be used at any of the City's three facilities: the Central Library, the Buena Vista Branch and Northwest Branch Libraries. When you are issued your new library card, you will also be given a Personal Identification Number (PIN). You will need your PIN to place holds on materials, renew materials, and to view your account using the Library's WebCat automation system. Please keep your PIN in a safe place. If your library card is lost or stolen, it is your responsibility to report it to the library.
