Use the Internet

 The Burbank Public Library is pleased to offer the public free access to a variety of information resources, including those available through the Internet. The Library makes this service available as part of an overall effort to serve the community's informational, educational and recreational needs.

Access

  • For the library's computers, users must read and sign the Internet Use Policy and Patron Agreement (there is a link to these documents at the bottom of this page) and present a valid Burbank Public Library card with an "Internet sticker" to the Reference desk.
  • Internet users under the age of 18 must have their parent or guardian's signature on the Internet Use Policy's Signature and Authorization form.

  • Free Wifi is available at all three locations.

Printing

There is a charge for printing. Black and white is $ .10 per page and color is $1.00 per page. A vendcard may be purchased and is required for printing.

Downloading

Downloading to a flash drive or disk is permitted. The Library assumes no responsibility for any data which may be downloaded, or for the reliability of such data. 
Express Computers
Each branch has 15-minute express computers for those patrons who want quick and short internet access.

Computer Classes

We offer beginner level classes for seniors. Sessions are held once a week for four weeks.Call the Central Library at 818.238.5580 to sign up.


The Adult and Children's staff are available for general help; however, they cannot provide individual instruction on the use of the computer or software.


The Library reserves the right to revise these procedures from time to time.
